Evening walk with camera phone

I wanted to do a "London: Week 4" post today but Yan left for New York this morning and I was feeling a bit down, so this evening I took a walk over the Millennium Bridge, right around the corner from our temporary apartment. It's not a great place to stay--the neighborhood shuts down at night and we're surrounded by dark office buildings--but you can't beat the view of the bridge and the river.

In that last picture, there are actually fireworks in the background. If you look really closely, you can see a little yellow explosion way in back.
